Pendahuluan
Produktivitas merupakan faktor penting dalam keberhasilan organisasi, baik di sektor manufaktur maupun jasa. Persaingan global menuntut perusahaan untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas, efisiensi, dan kecepatan proses. Salah satu pendekatan yang terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan produktivitas adalah metode Six Sigma. Metode ini berfokus pada pengurangan variasi, pengendalian kualitas, dan perbaikan proses secara berkelanjutan.
Pengertian Six Sigma
Six Sigma adalah metode manajemen kualitas yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi cacat hingga tingkat sangat rendah, yaitu 3,4 cacat per satu juta peluang (DPMO). Pendekatan ini dikembangkan oleh Motorola pada tahun 1986 dan kemudian dipopulerkan oleh General Electric.
Tujuan Six Sigma

Konsep Dasar Six Sigma
1. DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control)
Digunakan untuk memperbaiki proses yang sudah ada.
- Define: Mendefinisikan masalah dan tujuan proyek
- Measure: Mengukur kinerja proses saat ini
- Analyze: Menganalisis akar penyebab masalah
- Improve: Mengembangkan solusi untuk meningkatkan proses
- Control: Mengendalikan proses agar perbaikan tetap berkelanjutan
2. DMADV (Define, Measure, Analyze, Design, Verify)
Digunakan untuk merancang proses atau produk baru.

- Pengurangan Variasi Proses: Membantu menstabilkan proses sehingga output lebih konsisten.
